Last night, via Twitter, @i0n1c, also known as Stefan Esser announced that the untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.3 has now been transferred to the dev-team. He has also warned that the jailbreak is now in beta form, and the dev-team will have the final say on whether or not it will go out to the general public. This jailbreak will work for all iOS devices, with the exception of the iPad 2. It seems that the original exploit used to jailbreak the iPad 2 just days after its release was patched in the recent iOS 4.3.1 update. There has been no word on whether there has been a new exploit discovered to jailbreak the iPad 2, but it’s not looking good. As far as the latest untethered effort, stay tuned and as soon as it’s released, we will let you know how it works out.
